Shipping & Returns


Shipping to and from The Sewing Closet is at the customer’s expense and varies according to cost of items.

Our preferred shipper is USPS but we sometimes use UPS for large packages.

After a package leaves our facility we cannot be responsible in the rare event that USPS would lose your package.

We do our best to ship the same day, on orders placed before 2 PM. (EST)

If an item will be out of stock for longer than 3 days, we will notify you.


Your satisfaction is very important to us. Please read carefully our policies concerning returns.

  • We do not accept returns on cut fabric.
  • Refunds will be given on all other items minus a 10% restocking fee.
  • Please handle items carefully. All items must be returned in new condition and in original packaging. We cannot refund money for items that are used, cut, altered, washed, or returned in an unsalable condition. This includes but is not limited to excessive wrinkling, dirty, and/or contaminated with human or animal hair, or other foreign material.
  • Original shipping charges and return shipping are your responsibility, we will not refund shipping.

Personal information collected at time of check out may include Name, Address, Email, Phone number. Any personal information that is collected on our site is only used for order fulfillment, contacting you in case we cannot complete the order or for general marketing for our company only. We will never sell or give your personal information to a 3rd party.
